it worthy of posting, since i didn't think anyone would care :).. but
anyway, this is a review of these neato new 'glasses' from sony which
emulate a 52inch screen (while wearing them). but ya, this is pretty
funny, whether its real of fake, its funny..

this is cool, its like an access router for your harddrives.. get this..
its an ISA card, that has a pluggy thing that fits between yer Harddrive
and yer IDE controller (built onto yer mobo), it works by listening
to drive activity, if its unauthorized activity, it shuts it down..
this is cool, cuz it could stop 99% of all viruses.. oh well, they didn't
really say much about it, like what kinda interface it has with your
hd's (ide, or scsi)..

cuz you know, the average person has no idea how fat a 40gigabits/s
pipe is.. but eye do. so ya, apparently Africa is gonna have some leet
net access by the year 2002.. now thats 3 years, so god knows what 40gigabits/s
means then.. since 4 years ago, we were all swinging from our 2400bps
modems.. now im on a Cable modem which can do well over 2,400,000bps
(downstream)

Apart from regular visits by this public-spirited individual
there have been no new donors in the past two years, fertility specialists
say.
The situation is getting so bad the University of Adelaide's reproductive
unit is considering flying in sperm from overseas for childless couples
to use.
The university's fertility specialist Dr Steve Robson said the sperm
bank was in desperate need of new semen.
"We really do have a very serious under-supply of donated sperm at
the moment," Dr Robson told AAP.
"We have over 100 couples in the unit who require treatment from donor
sperm. We haven't had a single new donor in the past two years.
