"Yahoo - Jerry Springer Says 'maybe' to senate running" hehe, he's no Jesse Ventura, but im sure he'll do Ohio a world of good.. (but not until the year 2000 elections; presuming we all live past December 31st 1999).
Talk show host Jerry Springer questioned Thursday whether it was ``practical or possible'' for him to run for the U.S. Senate from Ohio where Democratic officials have asked him to consider a candidacy in 2000.
``I'm obviously flattered and honored by the interest,'' Springer said in a statement released by his publicist in Chicago where the ``Jerry Springer Show'' originates.
``It's just that at this time, I don't know whether it's practical or possible. In any event, I respect the seriousness of their inquiry and will respond in a timely, sincere and appropriate manner,'' he said.

"ZDNN - AOL Vows to keep blocking MS" Can you smell what the rock is cooking?. oh wait.. this is total bullshit.. AOL should be happy that someone is trying to be 'compatible' with its shitty messager client.. after all, if someone was able to come up with a leeter version of ICQ (OpenSource styles). i would spunk in muh pants.. but ya, heres some ponygifnpaste.
"Can AOL continue to shift its architecture to prevent Microsoft, Yahoo and the rest from using its database (of instant messaging users)? My guess is 'yes' -- if you're committed to something like that in the software industry you can make it happen."

"Eliminate the BSOD" heh, as everything returns to normal in 'CreatorLand'; i must post a gay utility link.. k, this claim to eliminate the BSOD out of WinX; semanticly (is that a real word?) it does... by simply changing the color of your BSOD.. oh well, try it out. im sure it'll be amusing the first day..

"CNN - Loose fires at Woodstock" this is so much bullshit.. just catch how its written..
A number of the bonfires on the Woodstock '99 grounds got out of hand Sunday night and raged into a three-alarm blaze near the concert's main stage.
About ten fire engines entered the grounds and firemen were working to put out the fire as thousands of fans watched, state police officials said.
in other words "these fires were strickly accidental, but, there was some looting, and violence; which is totally unrelated.." bah.. after all, they wouldn't want to ruin the "Woodstock" image now would they?..
"Yahoo - TurboLinux is #1 Selling OS in Japan" heh, great. Linux users are no longer all elite; now that its SOOOO Popular.. bleh..
In results released by Business Computer News, a market research company that analyzed sales at over 200 major computer stores throughout Japan, TurboLinux J 4.0 outsold every other individual OS product in the Japanese retail channel in its first week, including Windows 98 and other commercial Linux packages.
``TurboLinux continues to consolidate its dominant position in the Pacific Rim, and the success of our TurboLinux J 4.0 product is indicative of our commitment to being a leading provider of high-quality Linux solutions,'' said Cliff Miller, president and CEO of TurboLinux.

"MSNBC - NetBus makers to sue anti-virus companies" heh. i dont blame then.. cuz they'll prolly win, if they take the right 'angle' towards the case.. like keeping it entirely professional by making sure they the jury doesn't know how bad of an 'owning' it can issue; but ofcourse. im sure we all use it as a 'Remote Admin' program :)..

"CNN - Apple unveils portable iMac" well, not that it really affects me. but.. there are handles on the iMacs (the desktop version). which would imply portability.. even though, im sure no one would admit they have an iMac, nor would they carry it around, hunting for an electrical outlet.. oh well, i dont really hate Macs, just the MacOS, which can be fixed.. thank god for linux..
"CNET - Hackers admit virus in trojan horse" heh, a follow up to the link i posted like a week ago, Regard Back Orifice and a virus being on the cd that was handed out at Defcon.
"It was not our plan to do this; and frankly, it makes us look like idiots," a Dead Cow member, who calls himself Omega, wrote in an email to CNET News.com this afternoon.
Omega denied rumors that the hackers intentionally infected the CDs. "This is a lie. The whole thing is a...mystery to us; we don't know how the virus got onto our CDs."

"Napalm.net" bwhahahaha. this place claims that they have 5000 lbs of Legit Napalm. and infact they are selling it.. oh wait.. jokes on me.. they actually only sell T-Shirts.. bleh.. how gay.. i'd kill for some napalm..

"ZDNN - The art of lounging goes hi-tech" hehe, i would kill for one of these 'rigs'.. anyone who's sat infront of a computer screen for days on end would understand my gripe.. infact, for a summer project, i might just build my own one of these, outta stuff i got lying around the house.. :). oh ya, Tin foul can't sustain ones weight for too long.. hrmm well, i'll have to think more about this..
"Doh!(gif)" hehe. another benefit of windows.. it makes files, that actually give you space.. uhm well ya, thats just microsaq's way of coding stuff. it creates a shortcut with -1 bytes, so if you dont want it, it automatically deletes itself.. (uhm or not, im prolly wrong, since its technically impossilbe to create something with a file size of -1bytes, unless its less then a bit long, which is also possible).
