Former Navy engineer David Schriner showed off an unwieldy
device constructed from a parabolic reflector, a horn antenna and
two automotive ignition coils, which he aimed at two personal computers
about 20 feet away.
When an assistant activated the Rube Goldberg contraption by connecting
it to a car battery, the conference room filled with a loud buzzing
from the PA system and a PowerPoint presentation on the projection
screen flickered and scattered. One of the computers instantly dropped
out of its screen saver.
When the device was switched off, both PCs were frozen, and wouldn't
respond to keyboard input.

in Ohio came up with this leet engine tech. that runs on 'no' fuel,
well, no fossil fuel, it runs on heat from the atmosphere.. sounds interesting..
heres some paste..
The Entropy engine acts like a heat sponge, absorbing
heat in the atmosphere and converting it to power, Amin said. Since
it consumes no fossil fuels, nuclear fuels, or electrical power, it
produces no emissions, directly or indirectly. Its only byproduct
is cold air.
Initially, the technology will be used to create an outboard motor
for small pleasure boats, simply because it's the easiest market to
break into, Amin said. But as it is developed, the technology could
be used to run refrigerators, air conditioners, generators -- even
automobiles.
