"Excite - Experimental Pigs Turned into Sausages" ROFL. Why would an employee at the UNIV. of Florida steal a geneticalyl modified pig, to turn it into sausages.. I dont get it. What am I missing? Is there currentlly a Swine drought? or something that would force someone into stealing pigs? *shrug*

"CNN - Whats in a name? Child's Name Offered to Highest Bidder" why do people do stuff like this? "Hey I'm a big fat american, I need money, Lets sell our babies soul to corporate america." I can't tell you much that shit like this pisses me off.

"FoxNews - Iraq Fires Missile At U.S. Spy Plane" You'd think that the US would have learned, that spy planes are bad. Since the chinese had them by the balls when they captured a US Spy plane. ah well, leave it to the US Government to stick their nose where it doesnt belong :).

"Excite - Going Ape Over Chimp's Phone Calls" bhah. Now this is one smart chimp, first, stealing a cell phone from the cleaning crew, then learning how to use it. hell, This chimp is smarter then most of the guys I went to highschool with. since I'm sure they still have yet to figure out how to use their cell phones :).

"CNN - Entangled Whale Appears to be Settling off Nova Scotia" does anyone else think its wierd, that we still use the ocean for fishing? hell, australia gets all their fresh water fish from privatly owned fisheries. (since trout and bass arn't a native species). Frankly, I could care less, since I dont eat fish; But you'd think that people would finally start to open their eyes to fisheries.

"MSNBC - Huge Indentity Theft Still Unresolved" heh, This just in; Buying shit on the internet Isn't safe. But my question is. why the hell would a website be asking for drivers licenses numbers and SSN's and a bunch of other irrelevant information. Hell If someone were to ask for my SSN or SIN or Drivers License number, i'd be all "FU".

"Daily Radar - The 50 Greatest Moments in Simpsons History" Simpsons Rock!.

"MSNBC - House Passes Bill to Require FBI to Report on E-Mail Wiretaps" Oh great. Looks like that lame Carnivore system is actually going to be used. I thought it was like a blind threat, Kinda like the Kiesar Souse of the Digital World.

"Excite - Court Orders Hand Amputation for Boy" wow, talk about a midievil punishment. I heard stories about this when i was younger (about how people in the middle east, would get their hands cut off for stealing, I always thought it was an old wives tale.) but HEH. its not..

"Wired - Documentary: Hackers Are Kewl" hehe. Check this out. I'll do a little pastesaq for ya.
The conventional wisdom on hacking goes something like this: Hackers are geniuses gone over to the dark side. They're skilled, but they lack self-restraint.
Plus, they're socially inept. They don't have a very good time of it with the opposite sex. And then there's their power to bring down the world's computer systems through a few mystical keystrokes -- a power which certainly does not endear them to the analog masses.

"Excite - Eddie Murphy Escapee Back Behind Bars" wow, this is pretty clever, escaping prison, with nothing more then a novelty Fake ID. mental note: Get Fake ID, So when I get Arrested I can 'Get out of jail free'.

"MSNBC - Mini-Supernova Created in The Lab" I can totally see this being used in the Military.

"Kuro5hin.org - Creative Labs Spying... and Now This?" Its becoming more and more unbearable; with all the spy ware, and snifferware, and such. I'm really tired of it.. but all I can say is. Setup a firewall, and none of that information would ever leave your network.

Since just now they think they've spotted the Earhart plane :). oh well, we'll have to wait and see if its the real thing or not..

"Excite - Record Numbers Drown in Heatwave In Russia" hah, leave it to the russians. When theres a "heatwave" which is anything over 30C (to the russians). They have to get all boozed, and go swimming :). Sounds like fun..

"FoxNews - Woman Sues to become a Moose" mmmm the order of the moose :).. sounds pretty lame. Makes me wonder why even a girl would want to join. Especially if its a purely male croud. Oh wait.. Maybe thats it. She's looking for a man :).

"Wired - Famous Photo's Frozen Forever" Whoa, I can't believe that this is practically the first time anyone has openly tried to preserve photographs. but still i think its a great idea, since so much of our history is unknown, simply because of loss of documents (ala, the Egyptians, and the Romans, Greeks etc.). Although I wouldn't trust them digitizing them, and handing them out like their the originals, i can just see it now. The entire photographs are big watermarks, with subliminal "LOVE MS" messages embedded in each one.

"Excite - Elephant Park Recycles Dung to Make Paper" Whoa! I never knew you could make paper out of poo. I think im gonna try that with some of my own.. err. wait.. thats pretty disgusting.. anyway, pulling in 87.4$ a day from elephant poo is pretty impressive.

"SirCam Worm Threatens PC Damage" Frankly, The way I look at it, is lusers can do whatever the hell they want to, to their own PC's, and if they break, or stop functioning, thats good. cuz it keeps them from functioning on the internet (and thus lagging it down further). But my problem is. Since i work in the Helpdesk Environment, i have to disinfect all those fucken computers, where the users are too stupid NOT to know, that they shouldn't open every single attachment... (You should need a license to do shit on the internet, thats my $0.02).

"The Inquirer - Tualatin PIII Outclasses Pentium 4" k, This is for geeks only. But i would kill for a quad Tualatin System (well, maybe not kill, but I'd definatly fork out some coin, since I would never have to upgrade again (ya sure....)).

"CNN - Two Police Cars Open Fire on Each Other" I'm sure the Seattle police arn't happy about this (they seem to be pretty gun-mad over there, with all the riots and such in the recent past). This one is nice and short, and I dont want to ruin it by pasting any of it :).

"Excite - Teen Smashes Six Cars, Fails Driving Test" ghahah. Leave it to my home town locals do some like this. its still a pretty funny read, check it out.

"Yahoo - Sen. Clinton Commits Verbal Gaffe" heh, nothing like a slip up infront of hundreds of reporters :).

"SMH - The Man Who Fell To Earth" And this is what happens if you stowaway on a Boeing 777 :). anyway, this is a pretty long read, but the story is rather remarkable.. like to a point where, I'm surprized they havn't started work on a TV Movie.. (leave it to fox though) :).

"The PB Slice" Peanut Butter and Cheeze, in individually processed packaging. *shudder*

"BBCNews - Sex-mad 'Ghost' Scares Zanzibaris" HAH!
The ghost or genie goes by the name of Popo Bawa and people believe that it sodomises its victims, most of whom are men.
In recent years the residents on the semi-autonomous Tanzanian islands claimed that Popo Bawa only visited the islanders during voting, such as in the contentious general elections in 1995 and 2000.
Wait. next thing you know, they will be proclaiming it an 'Alien' or a 'Robotic Monkey'. silly 3rd world people..

"Salon - Group Led by Ralph Nader Accuses Search Engines of Deception" Whoa, Talk about a conspiracy, Search Engines selling the "placing" of returned URLs in a query. wierd. So that the sites paying the search engines would come up first.. I had no idea :).
The eight search engines named in Commercial Alert's complaint are: MSN, owned by Microsoft Corp.; Netscape, owned by AOL Time Warner Inc.; Directhit, owned by Ask Jeeves Inc.; HotBot and Lycos, both owned owned by Terra Lycos; Altavista, owned by CMGI Inc.; LookSmart, owned by LookSmart Ltd.; and iWon, owned by a privately held company operating under the same name.

"FoxNews - Neighbors Complain Woman Gardens in Bikini" whoops. looks like i missed the original article :). this is kinda like a reverse followup to a couple days ago's post :).

"Excite - 'Survivor' Pig Killing Prompts New Law" heh looks like Survivor has shaken more then the American Public, The Australian Government is now creating some legislature so that killing a live animal on tv can be fined upto 11,500$ usd.
The producers of the trouble-prone show, CBS, had already run in to trouble with the law after two contestants were flown to an island in the ecologically sensitive Great Barrier Reef and returned with pieces of coral as souvenirs.

"NewsPress - Man Itching to Relieve Close Encounter of Stinging Kind" Holy Shit, This guy has probably had the worst day imaginable. read it. (i'll sum it up for you lazy people) Man is pruning a tall tree, branch of tree comes loose, knocks man into bush, branch then falls on man, the chainsaw he was using (which was still running) then falls on his leg, cutting it all up, then the bush that he fell on, housed a large nest of Yellow Jackets. ) heh. talk about a rough day.
