"The

heres an interesting idea, a rotary dial on the mouse, but i still think
its about time that Mac's adopt a true 2-5button mouse.. How can you
possibly play a game with only 1 mouse button?

"Yahoo
- Intel Says to Offer Emulation Software for Itanium"
looks like intel is getting pissy with AMD's hammerhead cpu, since the
Hammerhead/Opteron can process 32bit apps just as fast as it can do
64bit apps. we'll have to wait and see how Intel does with this software
abstraction layer crap, since emulating stuff at the cpu level has never
been easy on the resources (anyone running VMWare or any other Virtual
machine would know what thats like).

"Gizmodo:

these little cool pc's. dont get me wrong, i love my ipaq, but the one
thing it needs is a little thumb keyboard, cuz using the stylus to write
or push the little buttons on the touch screen takes too long and is
way too cumbersome. althought they dont say what kinda CPU is in this,
its prolly a Crusoe or other low power mobile cpu. looks promising,
price is way too hight though :\

heres an interesting idea, instead of dragging a huge earth drill upto

be searching for ice on the moon? its far too inhabitable to have life
there (its way too cold, and theres very little gravity, so most forms
of terraforming are out of question). unless they were planning on putting
some sort of biosphere there, or something. Sent

Alright,
so i met this awesome girl a week or so back, anyway, we went out drinking
the other night, at a few different places in toronto (we started along
college street), anyway, so we're hunting for parking along college
st. but im finding nothing, then i look over, and see an underground
parking lot, i drive closer, and realize there is no one in the booth,
i say to myself "Sweetfuck, Free Parking" It was around 9pm,
so i pull in (without reading the signs, im a typical man:), find an
awesome spot, and walk to the bar with my special ladyfriend.
So we're chilling at this little mod bar (all mocked up 60-70s furniture,
etc). we're having a cool time, then around 11pm the bar starts to fill
up with college kids (go figure), so we pay our bill, and decide to
check out another place (someplace more quite). We cross the street
to hit another bar, we order some drinks, and we sit by the window until
the bar closes.
So at 2:30am, we start to walk back to the truck (in the underground
parking), when i notice, that the gate to the parking lot entrance is
closed and all the lights are off, and no one is in the booth. i'm like
"errr.... wtf??". So we investigate, i call the number on
the gate to see if anyone can open it for us, the drunken/sleepy guy
on the end of the phone had no idea what i was saying
<cre> "MY TRUCK IS IN YOUR PARKING LOT, GET DOWN HERE AND
OPEN IT!"
<drunk/sleepy guy> "What??!? I didn't order any pens?!?".
he then mumbled something about having to wait till 7am the next morning
when the lot opens back up. i told him to eat my ass, and i hung up.
My ladyfriend giggled a bit, and made a joke about spending the night
at her place, so as we're walking to get a cab, i turn to her and say
"lets just see if theres any open doors in this building, maybe
we can bust in, and liberate my vehicle... ".
*she gives me a devilish look, and agrees. we hunt. circling the building,
feverishly pulling at each door, each locked tighter then the previous.
The final door, she goes for, i have little hope left, she tugs, the
doors open. i smile, and we dart into the building. confronted with
more locked doors, we search for a stairwell entrance thats open. None
are found. Then my ladyfriend finds an elevator, she hits P1, nothing,
P2, nothing, and the final P3 button, it lights up, as we descend down
to the parking lot; (i still can't believe we are actually getting this
far), on the lower parking we encountered more locked doors. but once
again, one unlocked for each set that would normally end our adventure,
we finally arrive at the truck, we climb in, and drive upto the final
gate. thinking that it will be locked down by some enormous pad lock,
where i'd have to pull out a crowbar or tire iron or something to bust
it, my ladyfriend says she will inspect it, and walks over to the control
box near the entry/exit way, and pushes a few buttons, and the gate
magically opens. I break out in a howl of laughter, as does she. we
climb back into my truck and rip the fuck outta there. So long story
short; If someone ever holds your vehicle hostage in a locked down building.
dont feer breaking down a few doors in the name of mischeif.

interesting... after giving up coffee again, tea seems to be the next

coffee, is the lovely color it turns your teeth, and since i got a bunch

i know that even tea discolors teeth.. I wonder if someone will come
