"The Mac Observer - Mac's New Rotary Mouse" hrmm heres an interesting idea, a rotary dial on the mouse, but i still think its about time that Mac's adopt a true 2-5button mouse.. How can you possibly play a game with only 1 mouse button?

"Local6 - Girls Gone Wild Producer Faces 22 Criminal Charges" haha, i knew this would happen, i've seen a few of these 'GGW' style movies, and you can so tell, that some of those girls are 16years old.. Clearly not legal to be in tame titty porno...

"ABCNews - Theatre Offers Big Screen Gaming" Awesome! i never thought of renting out a theatre to play games on the big screen. Cept i'd prolly bring an old busted up Nintendo, to play Super Mario Brothers, on a 52foot screen. with pixels bigger then me. that would rule.

"Ananova - Goldfish can Swim Again, Thanks to Sling" i dont know what to say, this is so noble, yet such a waste of time.....

"Ain't It Cool News - Bastardization of Starwars" George Lucas == King Chimp..

"CNN - German Judge on Trial for Alleged Pimping, Sexual Coercion" and i quote..
He told the Bild newspaper he had not forced anyone into prostitution, but could understand his suspension. "We made a bit of money at it, but I didn't force anyone into prostitution," he said.
hah! Yeah.. right.. He didn't force anyone... Yeah! im so sure.

"Yahoo - Intel Says to Offer Emulation Software for Itanium" looks like intel is getting pissy with AMD's hammerhead cpu, since the Hammerhead/Opteron can process 32bit apps just as fast as it can do 64bit apps. we'll have to wait and see how Intel does with this software abstraction layer crap, since emulating stuff at the cpu level has never been easy on the resources (anyone running VMWare or any other Virtual machine would know what thats like).

"Gizmodo: More on the Mini-PC" Oh.. My.. God... I love these little cool pc's. dont get me wrong, i love my ipaq, but the one thing it needs is a little thumb keyboard, cuz using the stylus to write or push the little buttons on the touch screen takes too long and is way too cumbersome. althought they dont say what kinda CPU is in this, its prolly a Crusoe or other low power mobile cpu. looks promising, price is way too hight though :\

"HardOCP - G4 PC" heh see this is tasteful, no neon lights, no blow holes, just a clean case.

"Economist - The Art of DNA" hrmm this is a pretty interesting article about DNA, not just for geeks, its pretty nicely written too so most non-techy people should be able to understand..

"Honda's New Accord - The Commercial" heh this is a pretty rad commercial, i especially like the connecting rod action. pretty bad ass..

*yawn*, so i did a tally of how many hours i've slept in the past 30days, I've come up just over 74hours. in 30days.... i think i know why my brain isn't working so well. im pretty sure i require more sleep then this, in order to maintain some sort of sanity.

"MSNBC - eBay Goof Leaks 'snitch' data" this just goes to show you, never tattle/snitch/tell on anyone, cuz they will find out. and then they'll beat you up, and steal your lunch money...

"eBay - Antique Fossilized Dinosaur Crap!" hah awesome. im all over fossilzed poo hehe..

"Ananova - Pensioner's Shock as 'Chicken Lays goose-sized Egg'" I'm telling ya, this is what happens when you start feeding your cats, dogfood. they start spitting out puppies and shit. heh. But yeah, this is prolly just one of these genetic deviants, you know, variations in the species (ala darwinism, note i didn't say evolution). hrmm maybe gooses (goosi ??) and chickens are sexually compatible, i should really bust out some of my genetics books, cuz my biology is really rough...

"Pet Office - Hats for Cats" ROFLMAO~! Seriously, wait for this to load all the way up, then start scrolling down (warning, may ask you to install the japanese character packs, just say "no". heh)

One of these days, if i ever get pushed over the edge, i hope i can get my shit together and do something like this.. Oh OH OOH! i'm upto (somewhere around) my 17th best consecutive day of my life, just about at my last record, the only thing thats not really working in my favor, is my blasted work schedule, they just changed it a week early on me.. *sigh* but atleast im working weekends again WHOOOOHOOO! now, where did i put that bottle of jack daniels?.. *PAGING DR.DANIELS, DR. JACK DANIELS*..

"CNNMoney - Southwest Pilots Fired for Undressing in Cockpit" ghah! Seriously, if i was a pilot, i'd be playing pranks constantly too (or getting drunk, and flying the plane. heh)..

"eBay - Skeletor's Panthor w/ Ketchup Packet in Mouth" YES! MORE HEE-MAN TOYS PLZ!

"Ananova - Teeth From Corpses Being Sold as New Dentures" mental note: if ever travelling near/in paraguay, avoid paraguay dentists.... *shudder*

"CNN - O.J. Reality TV Show in the Works" k, all this reality TV crap has to go. all you people out there must turn off your televisions, during the "reality tv prime time" (ie, from 7pm fear factor to the 9pm howto marry a millionaire or whatever). cuz these crappy ass shows are just gonna keep on comin.

"The Inquirer - Andrew Busign and Opera" heh, heres a near complete retraction of that previous article i posted about Opera being spyware :) heh, So much for trusting the worlds largest tabloid... Whats the world coming too..

"CRN Breaking News - SCO CEO Defends $1 Billion Lawsuit Against IBM" wicked! take IBM down. the only problem with this is, IBM isn't really pushing unix anymore, they're all about mini-mainframes running Linux in VM sessions (its an ok idea, but its completely redundant, it'd be easier/better to build individual linux boxen with those pretty little dual cpu 1U rack servers.. ah well, IBM sux..

"BBCNews - 'Bunker Buster' Missiles Aim At Moon" hrm.. heres an interesting idea, instead of dragging a huge earth drill upto the moon, just taking a few bunker busters up, and tossing them at the moons poles to hunt for ice.. but the real question is, why would we be searching for ice on the moon? its far too inhabitable to have life there (its way too cold, and theres very little gravity, so most forms of terraforming are out of question). unless they were planning on putting some sort of biosphere there, or something.

Alright, so i met this awesome girl a week or so back, anyway, we went out drinking the other night, at a few different places in toronto (we started along college street), anyway, so we're hunting for parking along college st. but im finding nothing, then i look over, and see an underground parking lot, i drive closer, and realize there is no one in the booth, i say to myself "Sweetfuck, Free Parking" It was around 9pm, so i pull in (without reading the signs, im a typical man:), find an awesome spot, and walk to the bar with my special ladyfriend.

So we're chilling at this little mod bar (all mocked up 60-70s furniture, etc). we're having a cool time, then around 11pm the bar starts to fill up with college kids (go figure), so we pay our bill, and decide to check out another place (someplace more quite). We cross the street to hit another bar, we order some drinks, and we sit by the window until the bar closes.

So at 2:30am, we start to walk back to the truck (in the underground parking), when i notice, that the gate to the parking lot entrance is closed and all the lights are off, and no one is in the booth. i'm like "errr.... wtf??". So we investigate, i call the number on the gate to see if anyone can open it for us, the drunken/sleepy guy on the end of the phone had no idea what i was saying

<cre> "MY TRUCK IS IN YOUR PARKING LOT, GET DOWN HERE AND OPEN IT!"
<drunk/sleepy guy> "What??!? I didn't order any pens?!?".

he then mumbled something about having to wait till 7am the next morning when the lot opens back up. i told him to eat my ass, and i hung up. My ladyfriend giggled a bit, and made a joke about spending the night at her place, so as we're walking to get a cab, i turn to her and say

"lets just see if theres any open doors in this building, maybe we can bust in, and liberate my vehicle... ".

*she gives me a devilish look, and agrees. we hunt. circling the building, feverishly pulling at each door, each locked tighter then the previous. The final door, she goes for, i have little hope left, she tugs, the doors open. i smile, and we dart into the building. confronted with more locked doors, we search for a stairwell entrance thats open. None are found. Then my ladyfriend finds an elevator, she hits P1, nothing, P2, nothing, and the final P3 button, it lights up, as we descend down to the parking lot; (i still can't believe we are actually getting this far), on the lower parking we encountered more locked doors. but once again, one unlocked for each set that would normally end our adventure, we finally arrive at the truck, we climb in, and drive upto the final gate. thinking that it will be locked down by some enormous pad lock, where i'd have to pull out a crowbar or tire iron or something to bust it, my ladyfriend says she will inspect it, and walks over to the control box near the entry/exit way, and pushes a few buttons, and the gate magically opens. I break out in a howl of laughter, as does she. we climb back into my truck and rip the fuck outta there. So long story short; If someone ever holds your vehicle hostage in a locked down building. dont feer breaking down a few doors in the name of mischeif.

"Excite - Teens Accused of Concocting Poison Slush" heh, anyone seen the movie Heathers? (besides being an awesome movie with wynona rider as a young hotty gothy chick) .

"CNN - Depleted Uranium Weapon Risks Mulled" you know i've been saying this for ages, these depleted uranium rounds are a double blessing, first, it gets rid of uranium from the US/Canada, and it drops it in a hostile territory, and secondly it has the chance of killing bad guys.. but yeah, uranium dust can cause some nasty on the lungs (Excuse me, i ordered a Zima, not Emphazima, thank you...)

"KCTV - Teen's Blood Alcohol Content was .425" heh, 14 beers in an hour eh... I remember when i was like 19, going to a friends bday, with 2 mickey's of Tequila (one silver, one gold) and going shot for shot every 5mins till both were gone, then i we both blacked out, and i was thrown in the bathtub, and my buddy was thrown in the backyard (for easy clean up once the vomiting passed) heh.

"CNN - A Cup of Tea May Be Germs' New Enemy" hrmm interesting... after giving up coffee again, tea seems to be the next best thing.. But then again, the main reason i'm trying to stop drinking coffee, is the lovely color it turns your teeth, and since i got a bunch of fine dental work, my teeth stain at different rates (ie, all the fake teeth stay nice and white, all the real ones turn darker :( ) and i know that even tea discolors teeth.. I wonder if someone will come up with a clear tea...

"Ananova - Model Sues City Over Topless Parade Arrest" wtf?! a topless parade in Coney Island?!? How come i wasn't informed? this totally figures, i was in coney island last year, had i know there would have been a cool nudey parade i may have stayed longer and had more fun.. ah well....

"Neohapsis Archives - OpenBSD, Unbelievable" shit like this worries me....

Alright, nothing rules more then hearing that some of your old friend/lovers/etc, that they think that you're insane.. seriously though, I know im completely fucken crazy, but i never show it. and if anything, im more of a maniac then a psycho; so my craziness is way less harmful. anyway. Yes, i'm maniac, but dont downplay what i do by calling me crazy...

"FreeP - Amateur Surgeon Sent to Prison For Botched Castration" hah! Pseudo Doctor Wang, screws up kitchen knife castration, then gets charged with wrongful endangerment. I seriously think these 'back home remedies' should be reviewed before they are performed in our modern world.

"Ananova - Teacher Buried Under Books for Three Days" k when will old people learn? not to stack heavy stuff on shelves surrounding your bed... its a paradygm of murphy's law, if you stack buttloads of heavy books around the bed of a walking dead 60 year old man, the books will fall, and pin said walking dead man to his bed..

"MSNBC - AMD Rolls Dice on Opteron Chip" heres a really good article on the tech behind the new 64bit AMD chip, (this is pretty much for geeks only).

"The Star - Fugitive Caught After Appearing on TV Game Show" YES! Smartest guy ever. He's so intelligent that he can win half a million on battle of the sexes, but he cant remain out of the public spot light long enough to enjoy it.

"Ananova - 'Executed' British Soldiers Found in Shallow Grave" yeah i do find this to be pretty odd, i dont think i've ever heard of an enemy digging a grave for another enemy. So this does seem fairly suspect.

"CNN - Hollywood Alters Movies to Foil Camcorder Pirates" uh. i'd love to know the frequency at which this light would pulse. i've seen stuff like this in the past, where they flash light at a very high pulse rate (so high that we can't tell its pulsing), but it causes terrible migraines. and if the frequency is too low, you'll easily be able to spot the white frame. we'll have to see if they can actually pull this off.

"Neilswaab - Sex and Religion" YES! Blossum! YES!

"Startribune - Injured Big-Game Hunter Takes Aim at Bullet Manufacturer" uh, why do people still 'big-game-hunt' ? i thought this shit was outlawed ages ago. like back in the 30s? frankly all these multi-millionaire tiger killing assholes need to be 'taken-out-the-back-and-beaten'

"BBCNews - Reality Intrudes into Gaming" Oh god, this is gayest thing ever. Thank god microsoft spent all the time developing this.

"CNN - Private Manned Spacecraft Program unveiled" ha! routine spaceflight at low cost.. yeah, thats what they said about columbia... we'll have to see if this actually flies or not...

"GirlFriend Stealer's Homepage" hah! This is awesome. i can't tell you how many girlfriends i've stolen from other people, its the best shit ever. Nothing can raise your spirits (and ego), like stealing a hot chick from some rich/artsy/superfag. Its almost too bad that the "advice from a girl" has direct instructions from Trent Reznor.. Trent is far from a lady killer, if anything, he's so misognistic.

"I'd prolly do the exact same thing", serious. if i was a cop, i'd be busting all the rules.. upholding the law would only be fun for like the first 6months, then i'd be all about making my own rules, and enforcing them. I'd be the roadwarrior of the 21century..
