Alright people, I've found my old Neo Geo (for those of you who dont know what it is, its an old arcade console), and its made its way upto eBay. Anyone who's interested, check out this..
.cre

"Nettavisen - Boys Set Fire to 16yr Old" What the hell is going on with todays youth? When i was 16, i was busy getting drunk, sneaking into bars, and having sex with girls. Not pouring gasoline on my friends, and setting them on fire? Where are the parents of these kids? cuz they need to be smacked around a bit. or, taken'out the back, and shot.

"Guardian.co.uk - 'Fluorescent Fish' Give the Green Light to GM Pets" YEH! I'll take 1 glowing monkey please.

"Ananova - Cows Being Taught to Read in New Zealand" interesting... i always thought cows were color blind? (im no vegetetarian, but i'd like to think i know something about animals.) heh, anyway, this is a step in the right direction. but im curious how long it will take before the US Military realizes the possible military application of reading cows... Can you imagine smart cows being para-dropped into bagdad, flamethrowers blazing (wait... are iraqi's hindus? or muslims? who is it that worships cows again??) Its gotten to a point where i dont care about middle eastern religion.. ugh.

"Wired - Take My Datacenter, Please" i hate to say it, but IBM and EDS have it right. dont just host the hardware, maintain it, service it, respect it. That was one of the problems with Exodus, their sites were so far away from everything, if somethign went wrong, that a remote admin card couldn't fix (hardware failure, etc), you'd have to drive 30-45mins to get to the site, to replace the hardware. it was truely a pain...

"Silence - Silence of the Lambs: The Musical" i dont know what to say.. But i'd love to hear more of Hannibal Lector's Singing. heh.

"Heavenly Images - Memorial Pictures - Unique Gifts" *snicker* GET IT WHILE ITS HOT, TAKE YOUR NORMAL PICTURES, AND HAVE JESUS PHOTOSHOPPED ONTO THEM FOR A MEAR 25$USD! this is the dumbest thing i've ever heard.. I hate religious Zealotry... I'm sure jesus is turning over in his grave right now, people cashing in on his likeliness. See this kind of shit i never understood; as part of christianity, there arn't supposed to be any 'idols' (remember the 10 commandments, charlton heston, the burning bush, and the gold idol?). How can they hate idolism, yet they ask that you goto church every sunday, to 'worship'. i gotta stop here, this whole religion thing always gets me worked up...

"CBCNews - Scientists Grow Decaffeinated Coffee Plants" this just makes me wonder... Why?!? I dont understand people who drink decaffeinated coffee, whats the point? coffee tastes like shit, if it didnt have caffeine in it, i'd never drink it. See now what i'd really be impressed by, is if they could increase the caffeine by 70%, Now that would be news worthy..

"Ananova - Homeless Promote Pizza Firm" heh i was thinking about this earlier, paying homeless people to be billboards, Giving them shirts with logos, and having them checkin every day or two for 'payment' and to make sure that the clothing/billboard is in good shape. i think its brilliant, first, it gets those homeless people off my intersections, and putting them to work. its a win-win situation.

"CNN - IBM Losing its Unix License?" Interesting, looks like IBM is losing its battle against SCO. heh. but also see here and notice, that even though SCO is winning the war, IBM says it cant stop using/upgrading AIX. heh, I can't wait to see how this works out.

"Slide - Duct tape Lan" this is so gay...

"Reuters - Hackers Replace Singapore Party Web Site with Porn" *snicker* always good for a laugh, replacing a website with pronography heh.

"Mirror - Boy 'Pregnant' With His Own Twin Brother" gotta love these freaks of nature. take a read.. its gotta be fake..

"Yahoo - Boy Breeds Beetles in his Body" Uhh.. Uhhhh.. Mental Note: dont goto New Delhi..

"Audi-Oh.com" Yay for next generation 'self stimulation' (aka sex toys) heh.

"The Sacramento Bee - A Hidden Hazard, a boy's Death" alright, yeah, carbon monoxide, the silent, odorless killer.. the real question should be.. Why wasn't this kid wearing a life jacket? What were his parents thinking? Yeah it sucks that the kid passed out from lack of oxygen, but it shouldn't be the power boat manufacturers fault. This reaks of negligence on the parents part. First, using a powerboat which isn't recommended to be used as a waterski boat, and second for leaving their child tied behind a boat, being pulled around a lake at high speeds without a life jacket. I mean come on.. the police should be holding the parents on homicide charges.

"Canada.com - Vitamins Might be Bad for Your Health, Study Says" uhm heh, This makes you wonder, What we should be putting into our bodies.. The only vitamins i'm all about are C, and Calcium, since you can never have too much citrius, and calcium. heh, but yeah, down with vitiam E!!! (and too much beta carotene will turn your skin orange, anything that will change the color of your skin is clearly evil)..

"eBay - Bat of Justice!! Slightly Used" *snicker*

"Ananova - Trial Adjourned After Defendants Turn Up Drunk" heh, if i was being tried for murder, i'd need a couple drinks to face the music; actually now that i think about it, if i actually did kill the person, i would get completely hammered just to show my contempt for the judicial system. Infact, i'd prolly douce myself in rum or something, just so everyone in the courtroom would know i was completely smashed.. heh

"Boring3d - Daily Archive" Whoa! holy crap nuts, these need to be higher res so i can make them my backgrounds at work.

"Statesman - Food Worker Dies When he is Caught in Processor" this shouldnt be funny, but i always wonder what people are thinking about when they're "cleaning" an active machine, that can easily kill them if they make a mistake.

"CNN - Roll Like P. Diddy in $85,000 SUV" Just when you thought you couldn't get any more glutonous...... P. diddy takes a a truly slothy vehicle, and makes it even more bloated.. I'm surprized that he didnt strap a 50gallon drum of fuel to the top just to make sure that you'll never be caught without enough juice to run the 15 dvd players with the 36 plasma screen tv's onboard (over exageration).

"BBCNews - Missing Oscar Found in Florida" This begs the question. Who the funk cares????

"C|net - Microsoft: No New Versions of IE for Mac" i was wondering when MS was gonna announce this, after they said "Hey no more IE Updates for any Current Windows OS". but it looks like its official. Frankly, IE has turned into quite the bloat.. I remember when IE 3.0 used to use 3megs of ram on a graphic intensive website, now, i see IE chugging 17-23megs per page; theres no way it can justify that sorta memory usage. I'm thinking about going back to lynx.

"Popular Science - Microcrystalline in 30 Seconds" 30 seconds..... Awwww but i want it now.... (on a side note, the guy in the pictures, has a striking resemblence to my god father...... its spooky)

"NBC5 - Paramedics Pull Bluegill From Man's Throat" *snicker* yet another bad idea, gone worse. heh. who are these people? and where do they get these dumb ass ideas?

"Excite - Naked Man Scares Shark to Death?" hah! talk about a publicity stunt gone wrong (or right depending on how you look at it). You'd think he could have chosen a better fish tank to jump into, then one that housed an easily stressed shark.. heh..

"CNN - Ancient Oceans Were Half Dead" Interesting article.. but who let this person talk.. Check out the awesome grammar
"The hypothesis that oxygen levels had a lot to do a lot with the timing of the rise of plants and animals is just that, a hypothesis," Des Marais said.

"Canada.com - Cat Torture was not Art" What the funk?! This happened in my home town... im gonna find this kid... and he's gonna catch some shit. Oh look, he went to OCAD... this shouldn't be too hard to find him.. The commentary is by far one of the most unsettling things i've read today..

"SweClockers - xXx-Box" alright, my swedish is very rough, and ofcourse babelfish doesnt do swedes either.. But check this out, a guy is making a custom Xbox out of PC hardware.. Feeer..

"The Iowa Channel - Middle Schoolers Suspended for Sex in Class" rofl, sex in a grade 8 class.. hah. i remember the worst thing i did in grade 8, was when i lit a smoke in english class when the teacher was out doing something, heh. but that doesn't even compare to getting yer knob off during a science experiment :)

"Reuters - SCO Says to Act Against IBM if No Deal By Friday" I seriously hope SCO burns IBM. IBM has this tendency of taking developers from one platform, and dumping them onto a completely seperate platform (Anyone know why lotus notes is so slow in its latest revision? IBM had to cut back on its VM development, so instead of firing all the VM Devs. they moved them over to the x86 Windows Based Notes team. Taking lotus notes from a bloated barely usable application, to completely useless software suite with buttons all over the place, and stupid hyperlinks that you cant get rid of that constantly spawn up lotus.com websites. ugh. BURN IBM BURN.

"Nettavisen - Man Finds Foot in Garden" hah, i know this shouldn't be funny. But i never thought about stashing a dead body in a vacant house's garden. Its ingenius.

"BBCNews - Bush Fails Segway Test" *snicker* segway fails.....

"C|Net - Antivirus Flat Downs Email Servers" Heh... Network Associates sux.. I can't imagine how brutal this flaw would be if it got popularized. Lets see, sending off a quick email to 500 companies, and immediatly having their mail servers drop, and mail stores corrupted.. Hrmmm.. I remember when i used to work for a company who's mailstore got corrupted. it took 36hours of non-stop work to get it back up.. 500 x 36, thats alotta hours..

"CNN - Union Desputes Firing of Coke Driver who Drank Pepsi" ha! by this logic IBM should have fired me ages ago. since most of my machines at my house are Compaqs heh. I've never heard of anything so dumb, i always thought those commercials with the coke driver getting suckered into drinking a pepsi then having a childish fit and realizing that pepsi is better, was funny. I never realized that this sort of nazi bullshit actually happened behind the scenes.. I'm telling you guys, The nazi-fication (is that a word) of the USA is among us.

"iTV - Ambulance Drivers Trial Date Set" stuff like this makes me laugh.. when the law gets in the way of common sense. especially when someones life is at stake. Yeah, this dude may have been a bit crazed doing 100mph with a still pulsating kidney (or something) on ice in a cooler strapped to the top of his minivan/ambulance. But if some guy is in the process of dying/being dead and they need that kidney, fuck the rules. Life or death bitch; that'd be my defence..

Happy Fathers Day..

"TheSun - Machine Castrates Worker" Eeek! this makes me cringe........

"USA Today - A Classic Case of Downsizing" heh, dont get me wrong, im a huge fan of boobs. but when animated hooters are overly large, they lose their meaning to me. its like "wow, the sketch guy who drew this clearly has never seen a real set of breasts before... " but still, they shouldn't have altered the original movie, in order to make it more 'politically correct'. How often do you see a museum altering the Mona Lisa, becuase of her seductive smile? Never. Classic Cartoons should be treated with the same respect.

"eBay - 1952 Newspaper with Earliest EBAY Headline" *snicker*

"Excite - Nurse Uses Bandaids to Silence Newborn Baby" Best idea ever. I never thought about taping a pacifier to a baby's mouth.. Mental note for when i have kids..

"TechTV - DarkTip: Build an Xshok Controller" this is the funniest thing i've heard about all week.. Getting so competitive, that you wire up your xbox controller to become a mild electrical cattle prod.. so that you really do get hurt, when your guy in the game gets hurt.. its ingenius.. yet.. retarted..
