"BBCNews
- NASA Tests Laser-Powered Plane" hrmm interesting..
This does seem like a good idea, but how much energy was used to keep
the plane in the air? is it economical? does weather affect the laser?
theres so many good questions that go unanswered with these uninformed
reports.. ah well

|
"Excite
- Man Kills Friend, Drinks Blood" ghah! yeah...
when a dead movie actor (who played a vampire in a movie), visits your
home, and tells you to kill you bestfriend, you know you should take
your own life.

|
"News.com
- Web-based Music Pirate Gets Jail Time" See
this is the stuff thats unnacceptable. Selling pirated cds is a terrible
thing, much worse downloading mp3s. but yeah, this guy got what he deserves,
but my real question is, why was it only a $3330 fine? why not more?

|
"Ananova
- Flat Capped Pensioner Steals Hundreds from Bank"
yup, its that simple, find a busy street corner with a bank on it, walk
in, order some money to be put in a bag, and walk out.

|
"eBay
- Year 12 English Essay on Goatse" lol, someone
actually wrote an essay on the Goatse guy, i love the little 'review'
page featured in the auction, too bad i missed the end, i'd have liked
to have read it, to see what could have been said..

"Straight
Dope: Whats the 'Scroll Lock' Key on my Computer For?" Yeah,
i remember back in 1987 having to user the scroll lock key to edit GW
Basic/Basic code on my 8088, heh but yeh, im surprized that they still
use it, since i havnt seen a purpose for it in more then a decade, but
then again, they're still using floppy drives aswell.

"Technology

|
"WorldNetDaily
- U.N. Rules Canada Should Ban Spanking" OH
THANK GOD WE HAVE SOMOLIA BEHIND US! but seriously, if we dont hit our
kids when they do something wrong, how will they learn right and wrong?
I was spanked/hit when i was a kid, i know the difference between right
and wrong.. But look at kids today, in their HipHopHats, and Eminem
Stylin' clothes, walking around like they're own the planet, talking
on cell phones to their "homies" about "poppin caps"
at their local "BK", when really they should be at home, doing
home work, or, being beaten cuz they shouldnt dress like they just robbed
a walmart.. Sent in by: Wolf-

"Ananova
- Ghettopoly Board Game Upsets Black Leaders"
ha! i'd play this game. hell monopoly gets boring with its rigid rules,
and bland playing figure/pieces. Ghettopoly could be a welcome change
to that.. now i do admit, if young black kids start playing this, they
may become more motivated to use such terrible stereotypes, but for
older people, i cant see how this would hurt. But yeh i'd love to setup
"projects" instead of hotels, and crack labs instead of houses
:)

|
"CNN
- Thieves Steal Playable Version of Half-Life 2"
Things are not looking good for good'ole'gabe.

|
"Deinsea
- First Case of Homosexual Necrophilia in the Mallard" heh,
Talk about a minority.. A Homosexual, Necrophiliac Mallard.. Too strange
to live, too rare to die.. LONG LIVE THE FREAK DUCKS! (i think im losing
my mind again)

"eBay
- Uncle Bobs Glass Eye" the description on
this auction... is priceless....

|
"Improb
- The Fastest Man on Earth" whoa i just watched
a special on this the other day, High Speed Impacts (on history i think),
wicked footage, but yeh, see i like speed, but the whole, slowing down
at such a fast rate, where your retina's detach from your eyes.... thats
a bit too fast

"CNN
- Man Sentenced for Selling Body Parts" FOR
THE LOVE OF GOD, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE... Although, half a
million bucks, for selling body parts is a pretty lucrative industry...
But seriously, if theres one thing i will always respect, its the dead.
They are the only things that cant stand up for themselves, so they
need other people to stand up for them. Honestly, messing with the dead
has gotta be the worst thing you can possibly do..

|
"Yahoo
- Vivendi's Halflife 2 Game Delayed by Code Theft"
Rofl, HL2 will be delayed indefinatly.. just wait for it. by the time
it actually gets released, ID will have already done the Doom4 engine.
Seriously, yeah it sucks that your network/security guy didnt pickup
on this earlier, but theres no need to bitch and moan about it, Wipe
the tears from your puffy red eyes, suck up what little bit of pride
you have left, and finish yer damn game.

|
"The
Register - Intel, AMD, and Apple to Test On-Chip Water Cooling Tech"
errr. sounds like a good idea... But i've seen people beat up laptops,
to a point where the casing is all cracked up, and i know if there was
a water/fluid resevoir in that laptop, it prolly would have been busted
wide open, and the laptop would be useless.

|
"CNet
- Shift Key Breaks CD Copy Protection" lolz,
go BMG Security is job #1. i must admit, auto running software from
an audio cd is pretty sneaky, but anyone who knows anything about computers
(and runs windows) always disables autorun. FOILED AGAIN!

|
"PirateMod.com

"CNN
- Son Swappers Flock to Invitation-Only Internet" See
freenet is neat, but its not anonymous enough. But i must say, i do
like where this P2P network stuff is going, Waste is superneat, heavy
encryption, traffic masking, and fast searching/indexing, If these apps
continue to evolve at the rate they are now, we should have feature
packed anonymous/encrypted/traffic masked applications by xmas. Feer
the future of the internet.

|
"Ananova
- Teacher Literally Throws Schoolboys Out of Classroom"
rofl, Now this is how teaching/punishment should be done.. Angry, Depressed,
Middle-aged teacher, has some noisey kids in her class, she gives them
1 warning, then she tosses their asses right out the window.. Awesome!

|
"Yahoo
- Sony Shows 'Crossover' Video Game machine that Records DVDs..."
HAHAHA! Let me just say.. that for 900$usd you could buy 4 boxes, or
a kick ass p4 multimedia machine. Sony has really pooched this one,
I will admit, having an ALL-IN-ONE gaming machine+tv tuner is rather
tempting, but for 900$usd, i could buid one of my own, and have it do
alot more then just record tv and play playstation games.

|
"Excite
- Suicide at Rock Concert Postponed" I'm still
on the fence about this one. I think its cuz i hate Shock Rock, Seriously,
i was tired of this when it was called GlamRock in the 70s (keep in
mind i wasnt born till the late 70s, so the 1 year exposure i had was
enough to turn me away from it).

|
"Local6News
- Family Angry Over 500-Pound's Burial" Uuuuh,
Buring a fat woman, in an unclosable coffin.. Talk about dececreation
of the dead.. isn't this sort of thing punishable by death in some countries?
but come on, i couple play devils advocate on this one too, Why let
yourself get to be as big as this woman was; being overweight is not
a natural thing.

|
"Yahoo
