succeed, but.. i also hate IBM, so im still kinda on the fence about
the whole thing. But.. these "benchmark" numbers from IBM,
where the CPU will be 10x faster then current desktop CPUs is going
to be hard to back up. Think about it, what would your games look like,
if you had 30Ghz of processing power behind it? You'd have near life-like
depictions, moving at faster then 60fps. it would be surreal. We'll
have to wait and see what sorta silicon magic IBM has up its sleaves,
but i think its gonna flop..

Alright,
so when did the whole planet fill up with pussies? The other night i
went out for drinks with a few old friends, some of which hadnt seen
each other in quite sometime; One of them used to be hardcore, like
when i say hardcore, i mean HARDCORE; she had a huge passion for life
(notice i said 'had').. anyway somewhere over the past few years she's
become slightly domesticated, pacified if you will; and its just getting
worse.. I cant believe how sappy some people have gotten. I dont understand
how this sorta thing can happen, is it possible that maybe pussiness
is transferrable with physical contact? possibly transferred by association?
let this be a lesson to everyone out there.. if you hang around pussies,
its contagious. -- also, its really classy, when someone is supposed
to take *you* out for drinks on your birthday, and then you have to
end up buy *them* drinks and dinner because they have *no money*......

large harddrives.. I do agree, humans are great at creating data. Infact
im kind of a data whore myself. I have cd archives of data going all
the way back to 1996 (when i first gained access to a friends cd burner,
yeah a 2x and it cost like 500$). But seriously though, What ever happened
to the Solid State drives of the early/mid 90s? they had no moving parts,
so they had no common failure point; the access times were so low that
it was like writing/reading directly from RAM. ah well, i guess thats
something that will happen again when someone can find a way to make
Solid State drives cheaper for consumer use.

never a fan of the new 'Enterprise' series, but the main reason behind
my lack of enthusiasm, was that this series was supposed to take place
BEFORE the original series of startrek, But the technology they had/used
seemed to be so much further advanced then any of the series that happened
AFTER them.. I dunno, stuff like that just makes my head hurt..
